December is a time to celebrate the Christmas Season – and in Granville County, it’s also a time to gather with family and friends. 

Come to Main Street in Oxford on December 3rd and see downtown light up with the tree “Lighting on the Green” at 6:45 pm, followed by the Christmas Parade featuring floats, dancers, and of course Santa.

Bring the kids to Butner with their letters to Santa and join us Dec. 3rd for the Christmas in the Park celebration of songs and the lighting of the tree in the decorated Gazebo Park. Begins at 7:00 pm. The Butner Community Association presents the annual Christmas Parade on the 4th at 2:00.

The Creedmoor Tree Lighting takes place at the Community Center at 7 pm on the 3rd, and the Creedmoor Christmas Parade will be held on Main Street at 11:00 am on the 4th.

The Grassy Creek Christmas Parade is guaranteed to be a special event for the whole family. Begins at 2:00 December 11th.

Cocoa with Santa December 5th at The Barn at Vino in Stem, NC. Each child gets to decorate Christmas cookies, make an ornament, enjoy hot cocoa, write a letter to Santa, and K.G. Photography will be there to capture your family with Santa & Mrs. Claus! 

Drop by Carleee Farm Market Place in Oxford on December 11th. Come out and support of local vendors selling Christmas items, plus see Santa and Elves. 

Attend the Orpheum Holiday Gala on December 11th in Oxford. A Black-tie event supporting the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford! 

Cruise the“Back to Bethlehem” Drive-Thru Nativity Dec. 11th – 13th at Oxford’s Delrayno Baptist Church. Relive the miraculous events. Follow the brilliant light seen from afar. From 6:00 – 8:30 nightly.
