Gather With Family And Friends. In Granville County

December is a time to celebrate the Christmas Season, and in Granville County, it’s also a time to gather with family and friends. 

All Month (Oxford) – The Granville Christmas Farm incredible drive-through Christmas light show is open all month!

Dec. 2 (Oxford) – Come to Main Street and see downtown light up with the tree “Lighting on the Green” at 6:45 pm, followed by the Christmas Parade featuring floats, dancers, and of course Santa. 

Dec 2 – 3 (Butner) – Bring the kids with their letters to Santa and join us Dec. 2nd for the Christmas in the Park celebration of songs and the lighting of the tree in the decorated Gazebo Park. Begins at 7:00 pm. The Butner Community Association presents the annual Christmas Parade on the 3rd at 2:00 pm.

Dec 2 – 3 (Creedmoor) – The Tree Lighting takes place at the Community Center at 7 pm on the 2nd, and the Creedmoor Christmas Parade will be held on Main Street at 11:00 am on the 3rd.

Dec. 4 (Stem) – Cocoa with Santa at The Barn at Vino – Each child gets to decorate Christmas cookies, make an ornament, enjoy hot cocoa, write a letter to Santa, and capture a picture with your family and Santa & Mrs. Claus! 

Dec. 8 (Oxford) – Jingle & Mingle – Come see all that Oxford’s downtown merchants have to offer this Holiday Season.  Runs from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

Dec. 10 (Grassy Creek) – This Christmas Parade is guaranteed to be a special event for the whole family. Begins at 2:00 pm.

Dec. 10 (Oxford) – Carlee Farm Market Place – Come out and support over 30 local vendors selling Christmas items.  

Dec. 10 – 12 (Oxford) – “Back to Bethlehem” – Drive-Thru Nativity – Delrayno Baptist Church – Relive the miraculous events. Follow the brilliant light seen from afar. Event runs from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm nightly.
