Visit Walnut Cove and make your way to Armstrong Artisan Farm, located at 1499 Brook Cove Road, Open all month in its sixth year the Armstrong family, led by Jessica and Austin the annual Corn Maze is one of the biggest in North Carolina. Featuring a map of stokes county with many major roads named, two bridges and the Dan River represented throughout. This year they wanted to represent the farm and county for all visitors to enjoy. Activities here are family friendly with the larger Stokes County maze, and the smaller maze with families of small kids and strollers. So families of all sizes and ages can come and enjoy the mazes. Other than the maze enjoy a wide range of activities with hay ride that will take you through pumpkin patches to pick pumpkins. Petting Zoo, Chicken Area, Jumping Pillow, Corn Pit and several other games too.

A drive into the City of King will lead you by Robertson Family Farm, located at 390 Mountain View Road, where you will pass the family’s roadside Farm Stand that has been so well known for fresh strawberries in the summer. Pick out the Greatest Pumpkin from fairy tale variety to jack-o-lantern pumpkins all grown on the farm, priced $2-10. Grab the perfect selfie in the Sunflower Patch where admission is $3 and sunflowers $1 per stem. The Robertson Corn Maize features a tricky path over a half mile in length, can you beat the record time of 30 minutes from Start to End? Food Trucks on Saturday’s and open until October 20th.
