Parade Theme: A Toy Story Christmas
Theme Description: Some have associated this year’s theme with last year’s Pixar Movie, “Toy Story 4”. However, there are many films that can be used as a basis for your float’s decorations. A couple of examples include “The Christmas Toy”, and “Turbo Man”.
King Masonic Lodge will also be hosting a Toy Drive during Float Registration where participants can drop off toys which will be given to Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, NC. Information on the Masonic Home for Children can be found at https://www.mhc-oxford.org. We will also provide participants with a list of local churches and civic groups who also hold toy drives. We encourage the community to donate to these toy drives in an effort to brighten the lives of the children in our area.
Judging: We will be taking photos of the floats as they begin the Christmas Parade. All photos will be uploaded to the Facebook Event Page to allow citizens of King to judge which floats are their favorites.

Grand Marshall: Jeff Brown, Director of King Outreach Ministry
This will be a rain or shine event, unless the City of King makes the call to cancel or reschedule. If rescheduling is required, we will change the event date on this Facebook Event Page.
Registration Fee: THERE IS NO REGISTRATION FORM, registration will be done at entry. Unlike previous years a set fee will not be designated. Float Participants will be asked to make a charitable donation in an amount they feel is appropriate. ALL money will be collected at Float Registration. Checks should be written to “King Masonic Lodge #722”. After speaking with the administration of King Outreach Ministry, it was brought to our attention that a charitable monetary donation as opposed to non-perishable items can provide more to our community. KOM can use these monies to purchase much needed supplies including toiletries, baby supplies, and medicine. In addition, KOM can use their status as a 501c to purchase more food for less.
Get Involved: Members of King Masonic Lodge will be walking along the parade route with a box to collect money from spectators. This allows members of the community to help support their community through King Outreach Ministry.
We ask all members of the community to share this page to get the word about this event out.
