Temporarily rescheduled to July 22. stay Tuned.
Barry Gray and Dean Driver will be joining us in here Madison at the Hell on Horsecreek Brewing.
Barry Gray has been writing songs since he was a teenager, but only sharing them in public in the last five years or so. His songs are deeply emotional and tap into common human emotions and struggles. Making a difference in the lives of those close to you, both while you’re here and after you’re gone, is a common theme. He’s constantly in search of a way to capture the precious moments all humans share. Barry was the 2018 recipient of the NC Arts Council Songwriting Fellowship. Winning the Songwriting Felllowship allowed him to record his first record, ‘Footsteps’ which he released in November 2018. ‘Footsteps’ meshes his sweet songs, heartfelt vocals and tender guitar playing with perfectly placed contributions from a very talented group of NC musicians to produce a harmonious work. You’ll hear Barry’s originals as well as covers of local and legendary artists at his shows.
Dean Driver is a self-proclaimed late bloomer who didn’t start writing songs until age 48. Now 58, he can’t seem to stop writing and performing. A lyricist at heart, his songs orbit around big ideas – love, peace, and our interconnectedness – but try not to take themselves too seriously.
So come on back to the taproom, shake off the first half of your week, de-stress, re-energize and give a big welcome to Barry & Dean here in the taproom. Come in early and grab your favorite seat, grab a jar’o’cheer and enjoy the show.
Outside Food Always welcome but please let us provide your beverages. It’s our job and we do it well.
