Smoking In The Foothills Propfessional BBQ Competition is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) and is a State Championship event.

The 2019 event will be a double with Competition A on Friday and Competition B on Saturday. If you plan to compete in both your team only needs to complete Form A.

Rules and Regulations are designed to be fair to all contestants. The integrity of the Contest Judges, KCBS Represenitives and Competition Organizers is essential. Please click the buttons below to read, review and/or print out the rules and regulations. ​

What we have planned for the Cook Teams:
+ Private Cook Team Lunch at 1:00 PM Thursday
+ Private Cook Team Social with music and food Thursday Evening
+ Cook Team Breakfast Friday & Saturday morning​​
