Join us at the Surry Arts Council for our monthly Adult Visual Arts Class! These classes will be held in the SAC Art Studio every first Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am.

This month we will celebrate the natural beauty of the foothills and mountains of Western North Carolina. No drawing skills necessary, Kayla will lead you through creating a mountain scape with acrylics.

Kayla Ellis is a licensed and nationally board-certified visual arts teacher with a BFA in Art Education. She taught at Surry County Schools, Surry Community College, Surry Arts Council, and with Crisanthemum Ceramics. She explores color and design through arts, quilt making, and gardening.
