City of Eden, Rockingham County, NC
I don’t know about ya’ll, but fall weathers, crisp air, lattes, and apple cider just scream, let’s go holiday shopping! What better way to do it than get local, shop small, and spend my money in the local small towns rather than the big box shops.
The joy of strolling down a small town’s sidewalks and talking to the company’s owner makes my shopping pleasure so much more fulfilling.
Uptown Eden has exploded with some fantastic shops for all your holiday needs. Just a stroll down Washington Street, you will see many of these from clothing at the Front Porch, The Total Diva’s Closet, to Sophisticated Rubbish for antiques, decor, and more, Simply MK for trinkets, handmade jewelry, to your fur babies holiday gifts. However, if you’re the host of the family gathering this year and feel you need a new area rug to show off, Pace-Stone is the home of Karastan Rugs and has a beautiful showroom.
Lunchtime or just want a snack? Pop into the Hive for a charcuterie board and a sip of something. Need a pick me up? Next door is The Roasted Bean with your choice of coffee, tea, frappes, lattes, and more!
Antiques your cup of tea? So many to choose from and list, but to name a few are Belladonna Antiques the store alone is stunning to walk through and admire all the history and beauty. Revived Vintage for those who have a piece to restore they will assist in helping you with that DIY look you’ve been dreaming about. A little drive up the road, you can enjoy Dividing Line Antiques. Not only will you find the apparent antiques. Enjoy a glass of wine from the grapes grown on the property. The scenery and atmosphere are well worth the stop.
So many more to share, but this will get you in the right place.
