Fall Color Tours On The Ridgeline Trolley

Join us on the Ridgeline Trolley for the Fall Color Tour, hosted by Burke Country Tourism. Board the Trolley in Morganton, NC and enjoy the sights as you travel up scenic Highway 181 to Linville, NC. The Tour includes a box lunch that will be eaten at a stop along our trip.

Tour will include seeing North Carolina’s largest volume waterfall- Linville Falls as well as a stop at Linville Falls Winery and beautiful views of the changing leaves on the mountains.

Learn about the famous Brown Mountain Lights and other tales of the Linville Gorge and surrounding areas.

Due to COVID-19 we will be running at 50% occupancy in the trolley to insure the best possible social distancing.  Masks will be required for all passengers and driver.  The trolley will be thoroughly cleaned between each trip to be as safe as possible. 

The Comfort Inn and Suites, Fairfield Marriott and Hampton Inn in Morganton are all offering discounts for Trolley riders, please contact the hotel or the Tourism Office at (828)433-6793 for more information.

Dates: October, 2020 – 1-3; 8-10; 15-17; 22-24, 29-31 and November, 2020 – 5-7

Leave Burke County Visitor’s Center, 110 E Meeting St., Morganton, NC 28655 at 11am and return around 5pm.

Cost is $45 per person.
