6th Annual hay bale sculpture event is happening again!

During the month of October, round and square hay bales are decorated by local businesses, organizations, clubs, schools, and citizens that are placed all around the Town of Mayodan.

Mayodan Arts Center is hosting the event again this year, along with special help from the Town of Mayodan, NC, and sponsored by Rockingham County Tourism & Development .

Your creativity is the limit when it comes to designing these one of a kind sculptures. From large to small, each one is special and unique. A tour map is provided at the beginning of October for visitors to follow along and see each one.

A “people’s choice” and “most original” contest is held during the What the Hay Festival on October 12th at Mayodan Arts Center.
