If you only had one day to spend in this beautiful part of North Carolina, this is a place .

This is a 5 miles hike with little elevation gain and lost
You can easily see Drift Falls, Turtle-back Falls, and the gorgeous Rainbow Falls. We will also hike down to the awesome Stairway Falls and also see several nice cascades along the river.
Join us for this new adventure.

The Gorges State Park and the Horsepasture river are 2 hours 15 minutes away from Charlotte.

The trail is fairly easy and there are not creek or river crossings…This is an easy,beginners friendly hike.We will hike for about 5 miles 🙂
