Experience our incredible local history up close and firsthand, at one of Huntersville’s most spectacular outdoor locations.
Tickets are now available for this year’s Battle of Charlotte/Battle of Kings Mountain Reenactment Weekend, taking place at the beautiful Historic Rural Hill, August 31st-September 1st.
This event offers two days of demonstrations, reenactments, and other activities that reflect the areas’s local involvement in the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution- much of which happened (quite literally!) in our own backyards.

This is a fun and engaging opportunity for families, students, local residents, and history fans of all ages to witness firsthand the tactics, weapons, and strategies used by soldiers who fought for American independence from British rule. This event also offers a glimpse into civilian and camp life through living history demonstrations and exhibitions, that run throughout each day.

Food trucks and beverage stations (for all ages!) will be onsite, and you’re welcome to bring your own seating.

Ticket prices provide access to the entire event, both Saturday and Sunday:
