Dig Days take place at the Berry site, outside of Morganton, NC, so everybody has a chance to participate in the discovery of Fort San Juan and Joara. This is a fun, casual work day, so while we do want to be productive, the most important part is that people are able to enjoy themselves. We have 10 Dig Days scheduled this Spring, and they are all accepting registrations.
Dig Day Details
Every other Friday & Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Register for location details. Must be 16 years of age and older (younger explorers ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a paid adult). No experience is necessary. Participants may enroll for one or more of the scheduled dates. These days are weather dependent, and need a minimum of 4 people registered. Cost is $15.00 per day, or $5.00 for current EJF members.
