The envy of many cities across western North Carolina, CoMMA Performing Arts Center brings affordable entertainment to Morganton residents and regional patrons alike. CoMMA hosts everything from national tours of Broadway musicals, big band concerts, ice ballets, classic music performances, comedians, acrobats and so much more. There are quality big stage shows for an audience of 1000+ as well as intimate shows of 150 patrons on stage with the performer!
CoMMA is home to one of the Ben Long frescos, “Sacred Dance and the Muses” which is open to visitors Monday through Friday 12pm-5pm. You can also see Morganton’s own hometown legend, Etta Baker, on display with the Etta Baker Exhibit and Sculpture.
Each July, CoMMA announces it upcoming Season. The upcoming 23-24 Season offers something for everyone with Main Stage Season Passes or a pick your own package with discounts in line with the number of shows chosen from the Main Stage Season lineup. We also offer a separate Cabaret Series, which are three evenings of intimate shows placing the audience on stage with the performers. Finally a must have ticket for the Holidays is the Ballet!
