Reynolds Brewery Craft Beers & Creative Kitchen

City of Eden, Rockingham County, NC

The city of Eden is already a favorite destination for hikers, bicyclists, canoes, and kayakers. Now Eden is home to the second of three breweries on the Rockingham County Spirit Trail.

Reynolds brewery is owned by Chip and Tony Reynolds, and is family operated. Chip is proud to call Eden his home. For 25 years, Chip has wanted to open a brewery, being a homebrewer since the 1990s. With a great deal of planning and help, Chip found the perfect location in the old Fieldcrest Mills Water Works building along the Dan River.

The building is beautifully restored to include a brewing facility, taproom, event space, and a large outdoor deck. The event space is excellent for company gatherings or special events and has its own private bar. Even if you’re not planning an event right now, take a peek at the space when you drop by, and I’m sure it will give you some great ideas.

The space also includes a craft kitchen. A wood-fired pizza oven was brought in from Italy, and Jay, a local culinary creative, was brought in to put together very creative pizzas and hors d’oeuvres that can be fired up in the Italian oven. The menu is not diverse, but it sure is delicious.

A permanent stage and sound system are in the taproom to accommodate the musicians that roll through occasionally. And Reynolds Brewery will be hosting events on a regular basis in the coming months.

Make plans to head to Eden, North Carolina, and drop into Reynolds brewery, and when you do, come hungry! Visit the Facebook page for the latest news and events.
