Join Anchored Soul for our 1st annual “Bon Temps Paddle Battle on Wylie” in Belmont, NC! Whether you’re a concert-goer, fun-seeker, or paddler, we have something for you. To start off the event there are 7, 3.5, & 1-mile paddle races plus a kids race which you can participate in or spectate from land (those who wish to participate must register at https://paddleguru.com/races/BonTempsPaddleBattleonWylie. Following the paddle races, there will be a live concert event with performances by Kids In America Totally 80’s Tribute Band and New Kids – The Super Fly 90’s Tribute Band. Local businesses including, but not limited to, Juice Bar, Bagel Boat, Seven Jars Distillery, Red Clay Ciderworks will be on-site throughout the event for food and beverage purchases. Come on out and join the fun! Laissez les bon temps rouler!
No Equipment, No Problem! Anchored Soul and California Republic will be available to assist with all your equipment needs. Never been on a paddleboard before and would like to try it out, contact Heidi Leah Schmidt, certified SUP Instructor and owner of Anchored Soul to schedule a lesson.
Race proceeds benefit local non-profit organizations including Boys & Girls Club of Greater Gaston, Catawba Riverkeeper & Tri-County Animal Rescue.
After the race head downtown for fantastic dining options from eat and go to casual elegant.
