This year, our Daniel Boone Family Festival in Mocksville there will be music, food trucks, gem mining, axe throwing, kids zone, Lincoln log contest, and more! Craft Vendors will be in the Square of Downtown, selling and promoting a variety of items. The bands performing will be Rockie Lynne, Moxie, and Hotwax and the Splinters. The festival will have two Daniel Boone tours and will stop at multiple locations, including Joppa Cemetery where Daniel Boone’s parents are buried.
This Annual event is always held on the first Saturday of May, this year marking it May 4th. The craft show will be at the beginning of the event from 10am-5:00pm, and the music will begin at 1pm and will be playing until the evening at 8pm. The Daniel Boone Family Festival is a family fun event that is highly anticipated every year and is easily one of Mocksville’s largest tourism event.
