North Carolina boasts the most breweries in the South, with the Catawba Valley Ale Trail highlighting local brews across Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, and McDowell counties. Participants exploring at least 6 of the 14 breweries earn a gift. Featured are the scenic Hillman Beer, innovative Fonta Flora Brewery, the gourmet Happy Valley Filling Station, and City Walk, a brewery in a revitalized pawn shop.
