Nestled in the heart of North Carolina, Alamance County offers a delightful blend of shopping, dining, and activities that make it a charming destination year-round.  Mark your calendars as we host various events and festivals, including annual events such as the Mebane Dogwood Festival on April 25 & 26 and the  Burlington Carousel Festival on May 3 & 4.  “New” to 2025, is the return of the Arts Around the Square on May 17 in downtown Graham. In addition, there are farmers’ markets showcasing local produce to cultural celebrations that include the Esperanza Festival and the OBSN Pow Wow, both in the fall. These events add a lively and festive spirit to the area, offering visitors a chance to experience local traditions and community life.

The county’s quaint towns and villages of Mebane, Graham, Burlington, Elon and Saxapahaw, boast a rich array of local shops and boutiques.
