Already the Carolinas’ largest costume party, the Carolina Renaissance Festival becomes the place to celebrate Halloween! Save $22! Children and parents alike enjoy the fun and safe trick or treating experience with free treats to be found at over 100 locations throughout the Festival Village. Pick up your Halloween Treasure Map at the Front Gate and search the village for the Queen’s Treasure Chest filled with prizes!

In addition, a full day of regular Festival entertainment is complimented by the Knights of the Living Dead zombie jousting daily throughout Halloween weekend. And don’t forget, the Festival is a great place to buy your Halloween costume or costume accessories!

While the Halloween spirit is in the air, the festival’s full array of regular entertainment continues to dazzle. Marvel at the ancient sport of falconry, watch skilled artisans from glassblowers to blacksmiths demonstrate their crafts, and enjoy continuous live performances on 16 different stages featuring comedy, music, and daring circus acts.

As the autumn air turns crisp and thoughts turn to the festive season ahead, the bustling Artisan Marketplace within the village of Fairhaven is a great place to begin your holiday shopping. With over 140 vendors offering unique, handcrafted gifts from fine art and jewelry to home goods, you’re sure to find a one-of-a-kind treasure for everyone on your list.

North of Charlotte between Concord and Huntersville. The Festival is located on Highway 73 at Poplar Tent Road (between I-77 and I-85). 

Eight consecutive weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, from October 4th through November 23rd. The Festival runs from 9:30 AM until 5:30 PM, rain or shine.
