The Spring Craft Market In Valdese Is In Full Bloom

Town of Valdese – Burke County, NC

Plans for the Spring Craft Market are in full bloom as the Valdese Community Affairs Department has worked to accept a true variety of vendors offering unique handmade items and gifts. Taking place Saturday, April 30th from 9-4pm this outdoor event encourages the public to shop local and support area crafters and artisans. The event will be held at Temple Field behind the Old Rock School and will be a true way to kick off the outdoor event season for Valdese.

The event is proudly presented by the Historic Valdese Foundation in sponsorship with the Valdese Community Affairs Department. In 2021 in response to COVID-19, the involved organizations decided to move the show outdoors. The relocation created an outpouring of excitement and positivity for the event that could not be ignored by organizers. “We hosted over 60 vendors in 2021 and saw a record number of attendees, estimated at over 1,000 shoppers. We look forward to welcoming even more this year,” states Morrissa Angi, Director of Valdese Community Affairs.”

The 2022 Spring Market will feature items such as pottery, candles, natural bath/body products, jewelry, apparel, handbags, baskets, home décor, yard art, toys, goat milk products, accessories, and even items for pets! Admission is free and door prizes will be offered. In addition to crafts, this event will feature live music and concessions available for purchase. Plan to join us in Valdese and buy a true one of a kind gift for Mom this Mother’s Day! More information can be found at visitvaldese.com
