Summer’s here and the mountain is alive with the sound of music! That’s right, every weekend throughout summer, visitors can enjoy free outdoor concerts throughout town.
The festivities begin Friday nights with Family Fun Night at the Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria, which offers live music from 5:30-8:30 pm, a bounce house for the kids and family friendly outdoor movies on special dates. The event is free, and food and beverages are available for purchase.
The Beech Mountain Resort is the place to be on Saturdays. There, you can enjoy live music at the Beech Mountain Brewing Company’s Taproom & Grill or take a scenic lift ride to 5506’ Skybar for spectacular views, delicious cocktails, and lively tunes by local and regional bands.
Sunday evenings in July, Fred’s General Mercantile brings you Sunset Concerts at the Gazebo starting at 6:30 pm.
And let’s not forget the wildly popular Summer Concert Series at the Beech Mountain Resort. This year’s line-up includes great acts like, String Cheese Incident w/The Wood Brothers, Need to Breathe w/Yola and Dispatch w/Maggie Rose to name a few.
