I’ve always been a fan of live theater, and I’ve been to my fair share of theaters over the years. But CoMMA Performing Arts Center in Morganton, NC, is one of my favorites.

The annual event, Sept. 18-24, 2023, celebrates the beloved TV show in actor Andy Griffith’s hometown. Events, activities and performances take place throughout the week.
