ONW Has Something For Just About Every Palate

The Old Nick Williams Farm and Distillery, located in the Piedmont of NC, was first established in 1768 and was once known as one of the most revered whiskey distilleries in the United States.  The Eighteenth Amendment in 1919 and subsequent prohibition forced the distillery to temporarily close.  In 2015, The Old Nick Williams Company emerged from its centennial rest and started production once again on the family farm.

Nestled on 30 acres just out outside of Winston Salem, the Old Nick Williams Farm and Distillery produces an array of handmade craft spirits.  From several different whiskeys, Bourbon and Rye, Caribbean style Rums, and novelty spirits, ONW has something for just about every palate.  The distillery is family friendly and offers tours and tastings Monday through Saturday.  Their new cocktail bar, called The Busted Barrel, named after the revenuers, that busted all the stored barrels during prohibition, makes Hand Crafted Cocktails with the spirits produced at the distillery and offers a variety of beers and wines as well.   Local musicians fill the air with sound on the weekends at The Busted Barrel and some type of food truck is cooking it up on the property.
