The 2nd annual Old Town Revival (OTR) is the Lake Norman (LKN) region’s must-see event of the year scheduled for October 2nd, 2021 & is the signature event of Foundation Moto, a custom motorcycle company located in the LKN area, put on in partnership with Spinnerworks Events.
The OTR is free to the community for all ages, families & kids thanks the likes of title sponsor Hotchkis Sport Suspension & presenting sponsor Charlotte Tractor Company. This year’s event will be held at the charmingly spacious Kenton Place located at 17111 Kenton Dr., Cornelius, NC & will feature some of the most beautifully custom built & vintage motorcycles in the area. The OTR is also a celebration of custom & antique trucks, classic cars, & hot rods.
Further enhancing the OTR experience will be a police escorted parade, a vintage plane flyover, the Ives Brothers Ball of Steel show, Kubota Field event, live music by The HC Hoakes Band, a pop-up vintage barber shop, skateboarding demos, vintage bicycles, a car painted in chalk for kids to draw all over, food, beer, cocktails, raffles, giveaways & a wide range of vendors & sponsors.
Foundation Moto & Spinnerworks Events intends for the OTR to become ingrained in LKN tradition keeping it an annual event held on the first Saturday of October & hopes to draw a wide range of motorcycle, truck, cars & hot rod enthusiasts, both near & far, to the LKN area each year.
Proceeds raised at the OTR will benefit two charities. Hinds Feet Farm, a local organization dedicated to serving adults with brain injuries. The OTR also provides a platform to further raise awareness of Hinds Feet Farm’s Unmasking Brain Injury initiative. And Yay!DAY Life that supports four great local charities, Food Allergy & Research Education, Stand Up & Speak Out, Juvenile Diabetes, & Be The Match.
