“Going on a Bear Hunt” Family Hike

Join the McDowell Trail Association and the Barefoot Baby Foundation for this exciting “bear hunt”! Each child (ages 2-10 recommended) will receive a copy of the Bear Hunt song and a set of binoculars so they can navigate the trail, with all the fun elements from the song. The trail ends at the “Bear Cave”, where each child can pick out a bear to take home, and be sure to watch out for the “real” bear lurking around! Feel free to have fun with this- hunting/safari gear encouraged! Water and a snack will be provided.
