The Wherehouse Art Mart is a bi-annual event showcasing artwork from artists throughout North Carolina.

As opposed to a craft fair or flea market, the Mart is exclusively fine art.

The Summer! Wherehouse Art Mart will be held inside The Ramkat music venue and is part of the Industry Hill Neighborhood Block Party on Saturday, June 8 from 12-5 p.m.

The Mart will provide musical acts on the hour by local musicians: Zach McCraw, Molly Grace, Nate Lee, Yung Lungz, 1970’s Film Stock, and Malls & The Moon Tigers. There will be a bar serving beer, wine and liquor.

In addition, award winning body painter Cheryl Ann Lipstreu will have a booth for her art and face painting. Professional painter Nate Barchus will also be set up to do live portrait paintings.

This event is kid friendly.

The Industry Hill Neighborhood Block Party will close off part of 9th street and will be offering food trucks, live music, beer on the streets by Fiddlin’ Fish and Wise Man breweries, and Krankie’s Craft Fair will also be selling in The Mixxer parking lot.

The Ramkat, Fiddlin’ Fish, Wise Man, and The Wherehouse Art Mart will all be donating a percentage of our proceeds to the Forsyth County Mental Health Association.
