It is unfortunate that the forecast for tomorrow’s Halloween Spooktacular appears to be on the wet and windy side. We WILL still proceed with TRICK-OR-TREAT from 3:00-5:00pm but are cancelling the “Halloween Carnival” on the square which included infaltables, games, and the costume contest. For those businesses that have signed up to pass out candy on the square, we will send an updated map of your table location later today. Tables will be provided under downtown business awnings instead of under 10×10 canopies which tend to be cumbersome in rain and any wind.

Come to Downtown Morganton Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, and enjoy the annual Downtown Trick-or-Treating and Halloween Spooktacular! We’ll have trick-or-treating at downtown businesses from 3-5pm (map of locations to be available online by mid-October).

Due to the weather forecast the hayrides, inflatables, games, and costume contests on the square have been canceled.
