This event normally draws crowds of over 6,000 to view and enjoy local music, dancing and artist demonstrations. With Vendors set up throughout the park, a Children’s area, Kids Canoe rides on the Dan River, Axe Throwing from Appalachian Axes, Food Trucks and vendors. The annual Dan River Duck Race, Instrument Raffle and other opportunities to win local items.
The Town of Danbury hosts the opening parade which takes to the streets at 10am and ends at Moratock park before 11am where the high school bands will all perform to kick off the annual event.
Limited parking on site, but a shuttle service to bring people right to the entrance from the Stokes County Government Center Parking Lot.
