Danbury, Stokes County, NC
August, 2025
For over half a century, the Stokes Stomp has been a vibrant celebration of arts, music, and heritage. In 2025, it marks a momentous new chapter as the festival moves to the charming streets of Historic Danbury! While bridge construction at Moratock Park necessitates a temporary relocation for the next couple of years, the spirit of the Stomp remains as strong as ever. On Saturday, September 13, 2025, festival-goers will gather to celebrate #StokesCo and #StokesArts right in the heart of downtown Danbury, around the Stokes County Arts Council.
This exciting shift promises a fresh experience, with the festival embracing the historic backdrop of Danbury’s streets. While Main Street (NC Highway 8) will remain open, areas like North Mill Hill, Meadow Road, and Courthouse Circle will transform into the bustling festival grounds. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to shop the vendors, discovering unique treasures and supporting local businesses. Be sure to visit the Stokes County Arts Council Gallery and store for even more local artisan items. If you’re feeling thirsty, you can grab an iced coffee, latte, or smoothie at Rocky’s Ice Cream.
To ensure a smooth experience for all, a free shuttle service will be provided from the Government Center Parking Lots at 1014 Main Street, which will also serve as the main parking area for attendees. Get ready to enjoy an incredible lineup of entertainment on the NEW Stokes Arts Mobile Stage!
This is your chance to be a part of history! The Stokes Stomp invites vendors to join this beloved tradition in its new downtown setting.
