On Thursday, July 3rd, the festivities ignite at Walnut Cove Lions Park. From 7-10 PM, enjoy an evening of food trucks, live music from The Phase Band, and family fun. The night culminates in an amazing fireworks display, visible throughout Walnut Cove from various business parking lots and downtown.

The City of King continues the 4th Holiday excitement on Friday, July 4th. A spectacular firework display will light up the sky, launched from Recreation Acres at dusk, typically between 9:15-9:30 PM. Parking is available at the upper lot of King Recreation Acres (White Road entrance), King Public Library, Central Park Amphitheater, and other city spots. While waiting for the show, bring the little ones to Everyone’s Playground with its accessible equipment, or enjoy a game of disc golf or pickleball on the new courts at Recreation Acres.

The Northeast Stokes Volunteer Fire Department presents its first-ever Fireworks Display and Independence Day Celebration as part of its Summer Bash.
