A Cooler 5 on June 15th. The run is a 5K beer run with four stations along the way and finishes in a Beer Garden right across from town hall on Beech Mountain. The event is a fundraiser for the building of a new park on Beech Mountain – Shane Park Outpost. For information on the park, see below.

The race starts at Beech Mountain town hall, runs 5K through the Bark Park, greenways and some side streets of Beech Mountain with several beautiful views along the way. Four stops at about .5 each will serve 2 oz of beer to race participants, each stop is a different brewery.

The run ends at a beer garden next to Brick Oven Pizza. We will be providing live music and each registered participant of age gets one beer, with volunteers selling beer. Wrist banding and ID checks will be performed. All beer sales help Shane Outpost Park
