DESCRIPTION:The Surry Arts Council presents the Summer Concert Series featuring Too Much Sylvia LIVE in concert at the Blackmon Amphitheatre!\n\n\nDeveloping a loyal following of friends & fans sporting their red sunglasses and singing along to the band’s songs, Too Much Sylvia plays anything from a few “unplugged” tunes, some Beach, Motown, Funky 70’s, Retro 80’s a few of the top current hits and some Country. Blend this in with some possible “special guests” such as ZZ Topp, Village People, Pit Bull, etc and it really turns into the perfect entertainment for everyone.\nYour 2024 Annual Pass admits you to this event. Children 12 and under who are accompanied by parents or guardians are admitted free to Amphitheatre events covered by the annual pass. Note that this applies only to events at the Amphitheatre.\nFAQs\nWhat time does the gate open?\nGates will open one hour prior to show time. There are three entrances located around the venue marked “PAY HERE.” Exchange your ticket for an armband. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained at all times.\nWhat is the weather policy?\nIn the case of inclement weather, decisions to move the performance indoors will be made by the band no later than 5 p.m. on the day of the performance. It will be announced on the Blackmon Amphitheatre Facebook Page. Online ticket purchasers will receive notifications via email. If an event is relocated indoors, seating will be first-come, first-served due to limited capacity, and children 12 and under will require a ticket.\nAre there public restrooms?\nADA-compliant public restrooms are located in the Art Center, 215 Rockford Street, Mount Airy NC 27030, and behind the amphitheater across from the Municipal Building.\nWhere is smoking permitted?\nSmoking is only permitted in the parking areas.\nIs the venue handicap accessible?\nPatrons with mobility issues should use the Municipal Building parking lot, 231 Spring Street, Mount Airy NC 27030. The restrooms behind the amphitheater and across from the Municipal Building are handicap accessible.\n\n\n
